"Wonderful, beautiful and relaxing holiday - excellent!" - Jeanneau 39i, July 2016
Arriving at barefoot at Blue Lagoon your staff whisked us on to our catamaran the inordinate the first day our afternoon was very pleasurable snorkeling on the backside of Palm Island. The next day we set sail 4 Mustique... Mystique is a gorgeous Island we spent the day on a tour and went to Macaroni Beach one of the top rated beaches in the world, and I can see why diaphanous Blue Water powder sand and some shade for those who don't tan well. We spent the afternoon at Basil's bar with the 30 of us from the shoreline Sailing Club that had chartered for beautiful boats out of barefoot we had a nice evening there also.
The next day after breakfast on board we pulled up anchor to sail down to Union Island the sailing experience is just exhilarating it's such a thrill just to be on the high seas and cruising on a beautiful day Captain Jimmy Slater was excellent the whole time and made it through a very nice comfortable ride. We made it down to Tobago Cays first and our captain Orlando hooked a 60 pound fish that way all grilled that evening along with lobsters that the locals had brought to our boat prepared for only $60 us and the food was delicious.
After a day in the turtle Sanctuary snorkeling where we saw some fabulous Turtles and some iguanas on land we headed down to Union Island two more for the evening. We all went to the other side of the island to Vanessa's bar for a fabulous Caribbean dinner and a beach party with a bonfire we closed that place what a party. The next stop was. Pouion which is 50 yards by 50 yards with an umbrella that is truly a postcard experience.
After lunch we pulled up anchor and headed to meru to Salt whistle Bay which I thought was the most beautiful place on Earth but our director kept on telling me you think this is nice way to what I show you tomorrow and she was right every time. After a swim in the 85 degree Caribbean Ocean we pulled up anchor and heading to our next adventure which was. Bequia... Captain Jimmy was very gracious and taking us back and forth 2 the town of Elizabethtown or to the beach bar whatever we wanted he was always on time and we always felt safe. We had lunch at the gingerbread house and did some shopping in town we reloaded on beer as I had drank quite a few of those. After dinner Jimmy took me clubbing and to a block party on a break way street that I don't think many tourists get a chance to say that was pretty cool.
After another day we set sail for st. Vincent and stayed the night at the harbor at Blue Lagoon had dinner at the float bar which is very reasonable and the food was great. Sadly our head Venture had come to an end we checked out at Barefoot and they got us into the taxi to go over to the beach and then to the airport for the arduous journey home.
For someone who would never done this type of Caribbean cruising before and a novice sailor I must say that this was indeed an incredible journey that I would recommend to anyone it's a very cost-effective way to explore the Caribbean on your own timetable and a fantastic value for the dollar thank you again good luck.
The staff are outstanding - overall, a very professional company, we thoroughly enjoiyed our holiday
