Course Outline
- The J-24 is a responsive small keelboat steered with a tiller, and is an excellent platform for learning the basics of sailing.
- The course will start in the classroom for an orientation to sailing in a small keelboat, and then progress on to Saltfish. You will leearn how to rig the boat, how to manoeuvre the boat under mainsail and jib, first separately and then together.
- We will be sailing in mainly protected waters in the vicinity of the Barefoot base.
